Scholars always taught us that history was written by the victor, but time after time we learned the truth from the losers as well. The truth doesn’t magically disappear if you choose to not accept it. The truth owes you no fucking explanation.
One hundred years after World War 3—a war everyone knew was going to happen—humanity finally focused on the true problems plaguing itself: poverty, misallocation of resources, and greed. Everybody thought the world would end in nuclear warfare, but it didn’t. It ended like any other cycle: a massive human revolution against the ills of the world. Governments were shut down from the inside and new ones arose. New ones with new ideals, new goals for humanity, and one big giant leap towards the cosmos.
The year is 2127. In the ashes of a shattered Earth, the remnants of human civilization survive under five continental superpowers. At the apex sits the Emperor—the singular voice and military sword of humanity. But he does not rule alone. Convened in the shadows of the old world is the Human Council, the last guardians of global law. To them falls the ultimate burden: to guide the Emperor’s hand, or to shut him down if he steps into tyranny.
