The bombs fell
From the sky
But could not damage the land
With swift deadly intention they were sent
Outdated technology not worth every cent
Had instead of wasting money, they paid rent
Many wouldn’t be homeless in this world hell bent
Let the bombs come
We will wait for more
But be warned the mighty bear awoke
The bear stirred, its breath like frost
Through tundra winds and battles lost
It watched the skies, it marked the cost
Of every soul and border crossed
Steel birds scream with hollow pride
But truth is something they can’t hide
For every crater, every scar
A thousand voices rise afar
We write not just with pen, but flame
With memory, with loss, with name
And though the world may twist the frame
The people know who lit the game
Is the world really longing for chaos?
